Josh Fischer is a software engineer that has worked in several different areas of tech. He began his career building native mobile applications. He then transitioned to building out RESTful web interfaces and eventually made his way into automating processes with software to assist other developers. Most recently has been focused on designing resilient streaming architectures. He has assisted MasterCard with improving their data streaming architectures, specifically focused on fraud detection and making real time data decisions. He has also assisted Monsanto with mass data aggregation and improving their data processing architectures.
While working within these architecture types, he has become an active contributor on the Apache Heron project where he designed and implemented Heron’s ECO API.
He is a husband and a father of four. He and his family are located in Saint Louis, MO.
